Security and traceability

Administrative data has to be protected reliably and processed traceably. BuVer offers, among other things:

Role-based access rights – everyone sees what they may; what they may not is not offered in the first place.
Two-factor authentication – for accounts BuVer keeps itself.
Passkey support – signing in without a password.
Microsoft Entra ID – signing in with your existing company account.
Roles from the directory – if you wish, you assign roles and modules directly in Microsoft Entra; BuVer takes them over at sign-in.
Change log – every write action, with before and after.
Automatic backups – daily, database and receipts, outside the application.
Retention periods – entries and journeys are kept for seven years from year end and deleted afterwards; departed users are anonymised.
Multi-tenant data – each organisation with its own users, roles, data and logo.
Built-in manuals – one per module, written for the people who use it.

What has been added recently. The full release notes are inside the application, filtered by your modules.

Retention periods – Entries and journeys are kept for seven years from year end and deleted afterwards – together with receipts and log entries. An older date can no longer be entered at all.
Locking users – Besides “active” and “deactivated” there is now a temporary lock: access is closed, everything else stays – for a suspected misuse or a longer absence.
Deactivating vehicles – A sold vehicle disappears from every selection list, with a reason and reversible at any time. Its journeys remain.
Sign-in through the directory – Anyone without a BuVer role in Microsoft Entra no longer gets in – and the menu follows the actual rights, not a copy of them.
Accessibility – The absence calendar can be operated with the keyboard, the bell tells a screen reader how many messages are unread, and nothing is squeezed on narrow screens any more.
