Scope
This notice applies to the website www.buver.eu. The BuVer application itself – the demo environment and the operation for an organisation – is covered by separate data processing agreements concluded with that organisation.

What is processed when you visit
For every request the web server records the IP address, the time, the address requested, the amount of data transferred, the browser identification and the page you came from. These logs serve the secure operation of the site – troubleshooting and fending off attacks – and are deleted after 14 days. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in an undisturbed operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
No cookies, no analytics
The website sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and embeds no analytics services, fonts or scripts from third parties. Choosing a language leads to separate pages; the choice is not remembered.
Contact and demo access
When you write to us or request demo access, we process what you send – your name, e-mail address and the content of your message – in order to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps prior to a contract). The correspondence is kept while the request is open and as long as statutory retention obligations require.
Demo access leads to the demo environment demo.buver.eu. Whatever you enter there is demonstration data; please do not enter real personal data.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Please contact the address above. You may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
Changes
This notice is updated when the website changes. The date at the top states the current version.
